The grinder gets wet during the brewing process requiring you to clean and dry after every brew. Also the coffee basket is small so you have to thoroughly clean and rinse every brew.

Easy to figure out to program. Only complaint is the digital clock indicator doesn’t light up and it’s very small and hard to see. Either make the clock bigger or put a light in it

Who designed this? First impression is it's good looking but filling the water is clunky, easy to spill, easy to miss the small opening and the water is all over the counter. And the carafe - which you can't use to fill the water - you need a separate pitcher - keeps the coffee warm I'll give you that, but its ergonomically a mess, cannot empty the carafe unless you literally hang it upside down, hard to dry out when its cleaned. I keep looking to see if there is another compatible carafe I can replace it with that actually works but so far nothing. Truly I regret I bought this since I'm probably going to shell out more dough to completely replace the whole thing. Come on Cuisinart - so disappointing.

The new design of the decanter is not good, it is more tapered than our previous Cuissanart, and the coffee drips. Otherwise, we are happy with the coffeemaker.

I love my new Cuisinart because it's similar to my old one which lasted 15 yrs, yet it's easier to use and much more attractive with glowing blue lights and an easy to see clock. While there's just 2 of us enjoying this coffee maker, we still have the advantage of making larger amounts of coffee when we get visitors. The biggest selling point was to find a coffee maker without the glass carafe that is programmable, attractive, at a reasonable price.

This coffee maker is working out well. My only complaint is that the carafe is not designed to empty the last little bit of water when filling the reservoir, we've restored to using a pitcher for this. Otherwise we are very pleased
