This one replaced a similar model that served us well for about 10 years. We love having the coffee hot and ready when we wake up in the morning. The only thing we really miss that our previous model had is multiple temperature settings for the hotplate.

Cuisinart makes a great coffeemaker. This one is easy to use & keeps the coffee nice & hot. My only issue is the water level indicators being on the outside of the coffeemaker. They were easier to see/use on my old Cuisinart which had the indicators inside the water reservoir.

The 12 cup, programable coffee maker arrived with a faulty carafe that leaked while filling the reservoir. I contacted Cuisinart on their website and explained the problem. They promptly agreed to send me a replacement carafe that, when it arrived several weeks, later worked flawlessly.

I really appreciate the 4 cup feature on this model. I am the only coffee drinker in our house, so I can make small amounts of coffee. It double heats the water to make it hot enough to brew a couple of great cups of coffee. Then when I need a full pot; I have it without having a second machine. I don’t like the Kerig style coffee makers.
