This is probably the 4th or 5th coffeemaker like this that we have had, so we like the features on the unit. The only problem is that they don't last very long. The company does replace them during the warranty period; so this time we bought the extended warranty and we'll see how that goes.

I bought this to replace one just like it. The old one lasted quite a few years...I cannot even remember when I bought it, it has been so long. It was actually still working, but had rusted out somewhere inside and started to leak. I am so happy they are still making it. It is simple and has all the controls for everyday coffee. Nice to know you can rely on a company.

This was a replacment for my older cuisinart coffee maker . It works great .The clock on it doesnt light up so its not much use except to setup a time to brew other wise you cant see what time it is unless you are real close to it , I dont use that feature but its available. Good so far i would recomend it .

This is my second of these coffee makers, which I chose for size and capacity (it fits my counter space and makes pretty good coffee). There are a few negatives: the hinged top interferes with the access to the water reservoir, so you cannot completely empty the carafe of water into the machine — you can't tip it high enough before bumping into the lid. And the white plastic parts of the carafe — the lid and the pour spout — stain immediately with the first pot brewed and poured, turning brown very quickly.
