No audible alarm

I never imagined a digital watch would exist without an audible alarm. Timex lost an old Timex Ironman DataLink USB I sent in for repair. I needed to choose a replacement but there is nothing even remotely close on the market. I chose the Metropolitan because it has 10 alarms, which I used at work for clocking in/out, breaks, and tasks. The Timex Smart app has a setting for Ringtones, but does nothing. At least I found a watch face without the exercise icons.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this watch

I love this watch. I love being able to read my texts and see who’s calling if I’m not close to my phone. I love being able to change the watch face. I wish they offered college logos to use during football season. The customer service is great also. The only issue is for some reason when my son texts or calls me, my watch will not alert me. His is the only number it happens with.
I would recommend this to a friend!

LOVE IT!

I love my Metropolitan watch, it does everything I need and is very sleek and lightweight! The touchscreen is crisp and easy to read. My favorite features are the activity tracking, heart rate and sleep tracking (I never knew how well I slept until I put on this watch). The notifications are also extremely helpful especially with working from home and managing a toddler - my Metropolitan will alert me when I get a text or phone call. AND you can't beat the battery life, I can go weeks without having to charge it at all.

The look of the watch is very nice. The calorie count is way off. I have a treadmill and have had an apple watch and its much harder to burn calories then what this watch says. Also today out of nowhere the watch keeps vibrating and going to a black screen saying timex and then back to normal clock screen. It is connected to my phone and fully charged. I have checked for updates and all everything is in working order so I don't know why it is doing it. Was hoping to like this enough to not go back to apple.

Not for interval training.

The countdown timer only has minutes. No options to set it to increments of seconds. This seems like a basic function that all watches typically have. Kind of disappointed that such a high tech watch can’t count down seconds.

We appreciate your feedback. The Metropolitan does not specifically have an interval timer. We actually highly recommend our Timex Ironman R300 watch for interval training, as it does have the coaching mode which allows you to create custom workouts including interval timer based ones.

Inop out of box

Didn't work out of the box. The App doesn't work and the QR codes is inop. I sent it back, not going to keep a watch that gives me anguish when new out of box.

Metropolitan S do not work on Android

It didn't work on Android System as it was supposed to do. There wasn't any advice to the customer before buying saying that the watch do not work on Android. At least I was able to return the watch. This was for me a wasting time.
