A beautiful wall picture frame

I bought this frame for viewing my photos and for displaying some art work from time to time. The only negative I have at the current moment is the fact that it lacks operational instructions in the box. You have to go to the netgear website and from there search for instructions (or help). Netgear is more interested in selling their art work ( which is front and centre on their website). You have to work your way to their knowledge base and/or community forum and you'll find a Q&A section. Anyhow all that said, I love the unit so far, mind you the software program is not the most user friendly, they have a lot of work (upgrades) yet to do. It's not a Plug and Play. In order to get the most out of your new frame, you need some basic techy knowledge on how to Crop and resize your photos. I view my pictures mostly in the horizontal position (16:9 format). Unfortunately, most pictures taken with a mobile phone are taken in a vertical 9:16 format thus making it sometimes impossible to crop and/or resize to view horizontal 16:9 ( unless you don't mind having a small vertical picture in the centre of frame with black space (letter boxing) on either side. I prefer full frame pictures, with no letter-boxing. Or spend more money and buy their frame swivel bracket that allows you to physically turn (swivel) the frame vertically to view your full frame 9:16 photos. (a bit of a pain) I prefer to upload my pictures to the frame using my PC where I can use a 3rd party app to crop and resize my photos before uploading them to the Meural frame. Just log-in to my.meural.com and work from there for uploading. You can of course also upload picture from your mobile phone ( using the mobile app) but I find it a bit more cumbersome and not as practical as working from a PC.
