The Canvas digital picture frame is beautiful but the software is terrible. I’ve had two frames in the last 4 years. One failed on me (wouldn’t power on after 4 years) and I just bought a new Canvas II. Unfortunately, the software is not ergonomic and doesn’t always work. For instance, I have set a 24 hour rotation of pictures and it froze on one picture for three days. When I “swipe” I can view a new picture. There are features that have no explanation such as overlay and preview duration and some that just do not work. Netgear needs to update its desktop and app software.

I love to take pictures. For a while, I would blow up the best ones and have them printed and mounted. But there's only so much wall space. Enter Meural. I can now display all of my images in playlists. Every vacation has its own playlist. Additionally, I use Meural to display artwork, images from the Hubble space telescope, and homemade playlists like the one I did on Mars. I've displayed the works of masters like Leonard da Vinci and Picasso as well as curated picks from art museums around the world. It's like having an art museum in my living room. The subscription I pay for weekly art samples is reasonable. I love that I can orient the frame either in landscape or portrait. I would not hesitate in recommending this product.

I have had my Meural for about 18 months and enjoy it every day. It’s a great way to display my photographs. I have created a playlist for various holidays such as the 4th of July and love to display seasonal images this way.

Yes I Brought this 2 months ago and I'm Loving this Live Art Frame , I can download pictures and have over 1000 some Art Work too choose from So my frame never get Dull with the same old picture . My Family love it's
Don't think your phone pics will look good! Especially if you've used any zoom. This is for very high res pics only. Great for the downloaded art or DSLR pics with a good lens. The motion swipe can be irritating.

Art Museum at home.

I have had this for over a year now and have most of my favorite art works on it, some from Meural and some from other sources. I have mine mounted on an easel which makes it easy to rotate and to move. The image quality is great.
App is really clunky, slow. Seems to ask for overly broad photos permissions when other apps don't need to do this.
Having a really hard time getting the unit to use WiFi after originally setting it up for ethernet.
