A perfect addition to the living room. With multiple brightness levels we were able to choose the best for our taste. If I had to pick one thing that isn’t perfect it would be the plug. If you want to recess it behind the picture it will be almost impossible. The plug is sideways to the prongs requiring a double gang hole and even at that the thickness of the plug will stick out to far. Like I said almost impossible... (Just had to get creative). We now love the clean look of the Meural.

I received Meural as a present from my daughter more than 2 years ago. I never heard I I I Never heard about Meural before. But what a pleasant surprise. My husband and I travel the world and visited 56 countries. We visited all major museums of the world. But now, we have mini museum on our wall.It is amazing library of art. And also I also upload new photos from our travels. I would only add: touch screen.

Fantastic for home!

I bought this as an anniversary gift last year during the COVID lockdown. It was a joy to have access to so much Art in our home when we were not able to go see it ourselves in person. Coming down in the morning and finding a piece for the mural and waiting to see what others in the house were going to change it to later really became something we all enjoyed!

I hung our canvas in the entrance to our home and everyone who sees it falls in love with the concept and quality. At least three people have bought one since seeing ours!!

I've had nothing but issues with this since i got it. i have a bunch of pictures that their app won't let me upload(even though they are compatible as per the documentation), and even more that WILL but won't display. I'm really disappointed.

Our new Meural Canvas ii arrived and has proven to be a beautiful addition to our home. We don't have it mounted on the wall yet, but we are enjoying its display just sitting atop a credenza leaning against the wall.
If I have anything negative to report it is the operating instructions which are pretty much non-existent. We have it up and running and have added a couple of playlists, but that was mostly trial and error. I believe that there must have been enough changes and improvements over the past couple of years to render many of the online reviews/tutorials obsolete. Many of the step-by-step tips on YouTube reference features that (as far as I can tell) no longer exist. I don't mind experimenting a bit (because I have the time to do so - retired and staying at home because of Covid). If there is an online manual or guide to tell me about Playlists: How to Create a Playlist, How to Delete one, how to Edit one, pls let me know where I can find it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disclaimer: I received this product free of charge as part of a Beta Program.
I do not consider myself an art person, you won't catch me at an art museum on a Monday never mind on a Saturday night. But when I had the chance to test this item, I was interested I looked at it as a way to possibly introduce art into my life or even into my living room. Overall I think the product is a good product, and anyone into hanging framed art on the wall in their living space would love this product.
It's not perfect but no product is! The biggest downfall with this item is finding a wall to hang it on where there is an existing power outlet. Also, when wall mounting, the power adapter is rather large (standard size of power adapters used for Netgear Routers, etc) which makes it challenging to mount the canvass flush on the wall. After much work, I opted to hang mine on a wall with no existing outlet (my choice) and spent many weekends adding an outlet to the wall where the canvass is mounted. Due to the size of the power adapter, the canvass sits at a little bit of an angle but overall I'm happy. I may or may not at a later date look into a way of possibly resolving the angle issue but as of now, it'll remain the way it is.
The screen is very nice, I also purchased a subscription to the meural art offerings, figured it'd be a way to expand the available content. I was a little surprised to see that even with membership there were still items available only as a la carte purchase and not included with the annual subscription. The membership fees seem a little pricey but I believe some of it is donated towards art in some way. I don't recall the details.
The hand motioning is OK, I'm sure with future updates it will get better. Overall I am happy with the item, although I reviewed the item for free there was still significant cost and time invested with mounting to the wall, as seen in the picture. That was my choice, but between the materials, time, and paying for the art membership the money I paid in all equates to the money I would have paid for the product itself, and with that said I'm still happy with it.
I have mine set to horizontal so it'll only display pictures that are taken in landscape and nothing displayed in portrait. Users have the choice of mounting the canvass in portrait orientation or landscape orientation, they also have the option to display both, photos that are in landscape and photos that are in portrait regardless of the orientation of the canvass. And if desired Netgear sells a wall mount that rotates, so a user could easily just rotate their canvass to change the orientation. Even without a rotating mount, it's not hard to move the canvass from one orientation to the other, it's literally just hanging on the wall mount, and nothing locks it to the mount.
