Fast

This thing is extremely fast, I just use it for configuring network equipment and as a desktop extension (Windows 10). My whole life is in Office 365 and it all runs fine on this, for anything else I can use Remote Desktop and all the features work fine, like it would on Windows. For just looking things up, communicating or watching shows, this is more than anyone would need.
Note: added bonus is that Microsoft Teams supports running multiple accounts, which you can't do on Windows.
The only thing I don't like is that the keyboard has ridges between the keys, so it slows you down a bit when typing... I'm sure I'll get used to it though, as it's not that noticeable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's good chormebook . Keypad illumination is dim in some keys. I replaced with another one but having same issue. Body of device feel plastic, and paint gets scrached easy. Happy with quality of screen and the speaker system. Price is reasonable for kind of storage capacity and speed It offers.

Desktop Extension

This is really handy as a tool to let you spend more time away from your main computer and still be fully functional. It's much faster than it would be if it was running Windows and it's less of a bully than a Mac (as far as trying to take over your whole life)
It runs all the Microsoft apps you need to do work and all the phone apps you use for home life.
It's very fast, to pop it open and look something up it takes about 2 seconds... I don't know anything else that's that fast.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fast, practical, beautiful desing, but the touchscreen is not very resposive and not very precise. If you are thinking about buying it for drawing, I do not recommend.
It is a good laptop for schooling.
The OS is ok, you will have everything you need. I did not try th Linux yet, but you have a pre-installed...

The best laptop I have owned

As a developer, I have gone through a tonne of laptops in my career. This is by far my favourite (and I am adjusting for Moore's Law inflation for CPU, memory, etc).
ChromeOS with Linux containers enabled is a stellar experience. The i5 driving ChromeOS is snappier than my i7 Dell XPS13 running Windows 11. The battery life is very impressive.
The only change I would make would be to silkscreen F-numbers above the ChromeOS specific buttons. For now, my DIY label maker solution will have to suffice.
