The best!

The moment we got pregnant, we knew we wanted our baby to sleep in the Halo Bassinest. After having a c-section with my daughter, we knew we were going to be okay. The Bassinest rotates 360 degrees, adjusts to your bed height and has mesh sides that will go down when your arms press on them. Middle of the night feeds were a breeze and that’s exactly what my body needed. We loved the vibrating control option as well as the music. As a first time mom, I appreciate the mesh sides of the Bassinest and the thoughtfulness that goes into these products for the safe sleep all moms worry about!

Quality Build, But Doesn't Work for Us

This is not a knock on the quality or design of this bassinet, it just simply does not work for us.
Pros: Quality build, easy to assemble, swivel feature works well
Cons: Baby does not like mattress, does not "tilt" to help with reflux, prefer a true bedside sleeper option over a bassinet that swivels over the bed, soothing features do not work for our baby (Vibration, noise, etc.)
We have tried all of the sleep tips, and methods for babies that don't sleep in their bassinet. Unfortunately our baby will not sleep in this bassinet. The mattress seems uncomfortable, and she prefers more physical contact, which a true bedside sleeper will hopefully provide. She is able to sleep in her crib, as the mattress appears much more comfortable.

Perfect for c-section mama

This bassinet was an absolute lifesaver! I’m so happy that my research led me to this one. Our daughter loved it and could be close without cosleeping. The only downside is that the vibrate didn’t last long enough.

Buttons don’t work

The only button that works is the sound machine. The vibration stopped. We can’t seem to fix it. Ours was not built with quality in mind.

This is definitely a trendy item for newborns which is what encouraged me to purchase it. Let’s start with the cons,it doesn’t hover over my bed as described. Also, the side seems to only push down,not actually able to be removed. The media center is also pretty weak. The vibration feature is extremely weak,the sound options are not very appealing,but the soft light is nice. I agree with alot of the other comments,I hate the automatic shut off on the vibration,light,etc. it does seem to wake my little one up when it abruptly shuts off. The last con that I have is that it is very cumbersome and in desperate need for some wheels. It is extremely hard to move. The one thing that I love about the bassinest is the design. I love the mesh perimeter surrounding it,it seems really safe for babies that roll. I definitely sleep a little more peacefully knowing that my baby is safe.

Not easy to clean

Cleaning this product is very difficult, screws need to be removed and it’s time consuming to put back together

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t have any of the problems I’ve read about in other reviews. It is very sturdy and never slipped down. I loved being able to swivel her over the bed and away. I wish I’d had it with my first two babies too. I did not use any of the sound and light features more than just checking to see that they work. Good quality.
