We've had this up now in a new kitchen renovation and everyone LOVES the look. The fan is very powerful & does a great job clearing the area above the stove. It is louder than some, quieter than others but it's an exhaust fan...it makes noise. Fan speeds are excellent, light is perfect (use it as a light at night to light the area). The low profile gets rave reviews and as we have it between two windows, we did not want to detract from the view with a big pile of stainless blocking the light.

The hood itself is five stars. The only thing there was no instructions on how to set it up. Their customer service is great, the unit I received was missing the filter knobs and they sent them right away.

Relatively quiet and moves a lot of air. Adequate lighting. Do not care for how flimsy the air baffles are. In all, a decent hood for the price. Customer service could not have been better when we needed to return the first fan because it was dented up. The replacement fan came dented too but we kept it as it was on the back corner and could not be seen when mounted. When we mounted the replacement we placed our mounting screws perfectly level and when we hung the hood it was tilted by about 1/2 inch at the corner. This was caused by the mounting holes in the back of the fan being off from each other by 1/16". We used a Dremel and evened up the height of the holes. I would recommend this fan if you are on a budget and need hood that is more powerful than a standard range hood.
