Have a larger Vornado fan but wanted a smaller one with controls on the front. This fan works great. Quiet and plenty of air movement for such a small fan.

We bought this fan three weeks ago to move air-conditioning into a small bedroom. It works better than the previous 6 Vornado fans we have depended on for years. The infinite speed control of this small, but powerful fan adds to its quiet energy efficiency. We will enjoy it for many years.

Great Value Priced Addition to the EnergySmart DC Line!

I've been waiting for the price to come down on the Vornado EnergySmart DC line of air circulators ever since they first released them a few years ago. I'm glad that Vornado finally brought out a fan with the EnergySmart DC motor that's more affordable. I love the infinitely-variable dial speed control, as it provides much more control over airflow than the conventional AC motor-powered fan/air circulator. The size is compact, easy to transport, and the fan runs quietly (you only hear wind noise on the highest settings). The 10-year warranty really gives peace of mind knowing that Vornado builds a great product that will last for years to come. This isn't my first Vornado product, and it certainly won't be my last. Vornado may be the "Coolest" (no pun intended!) portable fan/air circulator manufacturer around! I might buy another one of these for my sister in college.

Little Engine That Did

I love this fan. I was playing around with a boondock/camping setup to work off of a goal zero yeti setup and looked at this fan for the power consumption and volume output. Honestly when it arrived, it was defective. It would click on low speeds and the shut off sporadically but it might have been built on a Monday. I could only get it to work again by...tapping on the chassis and then it would run for a while then shut off again. I know this was a random thing and went through the claims process which was very painless. When it was working, it was awesome. It made an 8 person tent very comfortable and don't let the size surprise you. For the solar, power bank, camping people; it consumed 7-11 watts as advertised.

Quiet. Adjustable speed

I have owned this fan for about 8 months, I keep it on my nightstand and use it at night.
It's fairly quiet and you can adjust the speed to exactly what you want -I wish more Vornado fans had this feature!. This isn't the best looking Vornado fan by far but because of the variable speed it's my favorite. I wish this came in other colors.. Black would be nice. The white stands out too much against my bedroom walls/furniture and it's kind of the 1st thing your eye go to when you walk into the room. Not a deal breaker but they would probably sell more of these if it came in other colors.

Small, quiet, but powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan may be small and cute but it's got power!! Its quite which I love, so you can put it on your bed side table for a comfortable breeze or a heavy cooling because the control is very easy to set exactly what you want. It's easy to take apart to clean so help push fresh clean air. I love everything about this fan. I use it every night in replacement to my big fan giving more room in my bedroom.
I would recommend this to a friend!
