This case looks like it provides good protection but it comes at a cost. It nearly doubles the thickness of the phone, it becomes way too big. A thin case usually does the job. I mean who is dropping their phone out of an airplane on a regular basis.
Also, its nearly impossible to remove the case without feeling like the phone is bending.
Warning to XS iPhones - the camera cut out doesn't line up with the camera bump properly. It's hideous

Great case except a couple issues

Case fit great on the IPhone XR!
A couple of things that are not so good with this case:
1) The back of the case is all scratched and scuffed from less than 2 weeks of use.
2) Have to use a bit more force to press the volume buttons as well as the sleep/wake button as there is a space between the case and buttons.

Overall great protection for the phone but can definitely use some improvement on issues listed above!

Doesn't protect as implied

Had someone knock my phone out of my hand and it fell to the ground. Even with the case, it cracked the glass on the back of the iPhone. Product says it was 8 feet drop tested. Doesn't appear to be the case...

Terrible Discoloration

After less than a year, the edges and corner bumpers have turned a ugly brown/yellow color. So whatever technology described here about staying clear is absolutely not true. All three of us in our family have the same issue as we got three of these cases for each of us. Also the case has broken above the charging hole as well. Do not buy this case!

Thoughtfully designed, practical, and elegant

Bought this Speck Presidio hard shell case on-line. My iPhone XR now has a protective layer that has been thoughtfully designed. You can actually see and feel the protection elements in the edge of case. This is Speck's soft IMPACTIUM clear layer that protects the phone's edges, corners, and back. The case feels good when held and is more substanial than other cases I've seen in the field. The raised bezel provides good screen protection. My black XR looks like it is floating in a clear frame. This purchase was all about protective function for my phone yet this case has fetched numerous compliments for it's looks. Function meets value with the purchase of this Speck case.
I would recommend this to a friend!
