I like the readout of yardages to hazards and green along the side. Also a nice readout of wind direction, when it’s linked to your phone.

This is my second Range finder and I find this to be so much better. Having the course overlay integrated onto the screen with details on yards to hazards and bunkers is great and just adds so much to the usefulness of the device. I would highly recommend it !

For the price....could use several improvements

The action of this unit is fast and accurate. There are a few things that I didn't expect for the money. Example - NO MAGNET? Are you kidding? For this price you didn't include one? Slow to boot up and often goes to sleep. Sometimes you have to wait for it to boot up and then reset it if you didn't use it on a hole. It goes to a deep sleep. Overall it is a good unit, but not great. Accuracy when it works is good. Screen is kind of grainy - looks cheap but it's color. If I didn't get it for a gift, I would return it! Not worth the more than 5X you can spend on a similar product that sticks to the cart without spending more money.

Terrific Rangefinder!

The Z30 rangefinder is the best rangefinder I have used. Accurate distances and the pin location feature is outstanding. When combined with a Garmin golf watch, it blows the competition away.

Almost perfect

So far it is great, other than I can't seem to get the green reading part to work. I have a premium membership, but I have played courses where the cart shows the green slopes and the Approach Z82 doesn't. Maybe I am missing a setting or something?

Not worth the money!

I bought this because of the wind speed and directions displayed on the viewfinder, however, it’s not accurate, not by a long shot. It would show 5 miles per hour winds when the wind is actually 20+ miles per hour. Another problem is very difficult to get reading from inside 60 yards. Also it’s top heavy, very difficult to to find pin!
I have been using Range Finders for over 30 years, this is by far the worst!
