Great coffee maker

This coffee maker works exactly as described.
I found some reviews say that coffee is not hot enough and that could be solved by warming up the carafe before make the coffee with hot water (it is written in the manual).
Its buttons and screen are small but it doesn't worry us.
I bought this thermal coffee maker since my glass carafe broke and it was too expensive to replace. The metal carafe is much easier to clean and sturdy. Easy to maintain and coffee tasted good. My coffee remain lukewarm until the next day.

Pot Pours Poorly

It'll make coffee and keep it warm, but the pot either pours incredibly slow or it spills down the side and makes a mess.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is everything it was advertised to be. We were looking for a simple inexpensive coffee maker with a thermal pot as they do not break like the glass kind.

Excellent Buy

After years of using a low-cost coffee maker I decided to step up to a better product. I couldn’t be happier with the Hamilton beach 8 cup coffee maker. First up it makes excellent coffee. In the process it saves between 15 and 20% on the amount of coffee used from my previous maker. The bold setting makes excellent coffee and uses less coffee in the process. The carafe works great provided you preheat it as recommended. A nice benefit is that the coffee maker has a relatively small footprint. This was an important consideration to me as my counter space is very limited. it’s easy to program with good instructions. Of course an important consideration is it’s low cost. When you consider the excellent performance that it provides, compared to the fact it competes well with coffee makers costing much more, it is definitely a Best Buy in coffee makers.
I would recommend this to a friend!
