As per other reviews, the carafe for this maker leaks a lot while pouring. You can avoid the leaks, but you must pour extremely slow and have a very, very steady and level hand while doing so. On top of this, the buttons feel cheaply made.
Not the worst coffee maker made, but nowhere near worth the price being asked. Should only be selling for about one half the cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
