Love At First Bite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Egg Bites Maker is one amazing product. You can now make great, high protein egg bites for home or work that taste much better than those you can get at coffee shops.
The device is very well designed and easy to use. I followed the instructions for the egg bite mixture, adding my own spices. In 10 minutes I had two very fluffy and tasty egg bites! What joy. The egg bites do have a tendency to collapse a bit as they cool, similar to a souffle. But they still taste great.
I also put the egg bite maker through several other tests. I used the "egg white only" mixture you can buy. I mixed in chopped ham, chopped green onion, and spices. I filled the egg bite cups to the max line, and in 10 minutes I had two incredibly fluffy and tasty breakfast bites. This maker produces egg bites just as tasty as coffee shop bites, if not more so.
I made a few extra, and they reheated nicely the next day. Now I have take away breakfast meals I can reheat at work. Very portable. Clean up was quick and easy. Nothing seems to stick to the surfaces of the egg bite maker.
A couple things to note. Use distilled water if you want to avoid hard water build up in the reservoir. The electric cord is a bit short, so you might need an extension cord if you have an oddly shaped kitchen like mine. And be careful where you place the egg bite maker, as it does produce a healthy amount of steam.
I tried making the poached eggs, but ended up with hard cooked eggs. Use this feature with caution.
Overall, the egg bite maker is one fun kitchen tool, and turns out a tasty and wonderful product. I will be saving a lot of extra money now that I can make my own egg bites. Buying one of these will be money well invested.

Perfect for anyone who loves eggs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I absolutely love this! We eat a lot of eggs and this is a perfect and a fun new way to make them up. We enjoy creating our own flavors and the serving size of 2 egg bites is just perfect per person. The unit is small and easy to store, super easy to clean, nice design, simple to use (very detailed instructions) and makes perfect egg bites quickly. We seem to average from cracking the egg to dishing the egg bites up to take about 12 minutes start to finish. I also like the red and green lights on the front to let you know when they are done. We have not made poached eggs, but we have made multiple egg bites with various additions; cheese, sausage, onion, salt, pepper, bacon and all have worked out well. The egg bites turn out fluffy and light.

Fool Proof!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since getting this, I have not gone back to making my usual scrambled eggs. This egg bites maker is so easy to use and I love it because it doesn’t take forever to cook! I just put my ingredients in my blender and pour them in to the MAX line. My son loves when we make green eggs with the spinach. It’s very easy and quick to clean which I need with 2 little ones. The eggs are done when the green light goes off & the water runs out at the bottom. I do wish there was more of an alarm or “ding” on it to let you know when the eggs were done because I could be doing something else during the 7-8 minutes it’s cooking. Very convenient and compact, which is good for small counter space. Also no guessing on how much water you need because it comes with a small measuring cup. I am worried about how it will stand against the test of time because the water reservoir is already starting to show signs of wear. Will be using it forever!!

Makes great snacks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a nice egg cooker to use. When i followed the instructions i ended up with fluffy bite size egg portions that were tasty!
Medium to large eggs work best, extra large cause an overflow or for the egg to be partially cooked inside.
My family had a fun time trying out different ingredients and making bite size omelettes!
My only small complaint would be that it only makes two at a time which makes this seem slow if you want to make a bunch up ahead of time.

Great egg machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's cute and inlove making different egg recipes without having bread. I only wish it was a 4 pack, wo I could make 4 differ.t egg bites at once. I like to meal prep and this helps a lot, so I dont have to buy prepackaged instant foods.

New way to make eggs

I'll have to use it a few more times to see if I really like it. May give it to a grandson who likes making things like this.

Not only does it make delicious egg bites you can customize to your liking, it also makes awesome poached eggs. By adjusting the water you add you can get the eggs to cook to your liking. It does take some experimenting to get poached eggs right, but when you figure it out they come out perfect each time. When the green light goes out, you unplug it and remove the egg tray to stop cooking. The egg tray and lid are dishwasher safe on the top shelf, and the rest of the cooker can be wiped down to clean. I would definitely recommend this if you like egg bites or poached eggs. I received this free in exchange for writing a review.
