We've had this GE dishwasher for approximately four and a half years, the control board recently started going bad if we power cycle it would still work but now it won't even start a cycle. I have gone through the reset procedures and also trying to power cycle it, but it will not start, it only beeps when trying to push any of the buttons on the front panel. We certainly expected a GE dishwasher to last more than four and a half years. We will not buy another one of these to replace it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The top drawer does not allow for taller glasses or wine glasses to be loaded. Had to remove it. The configuration at the bottom is too wide to load dishes appropriately.

MUCH better than our previous dishwasher, but not perfect. Every now and then there are plates or bowls that have food stuck on them after the dishwasher has been run.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst Dishwasher I have ever owned

If all dishes are not completely prewashed, the only thing this dishwasher does is bake the food onto the dish. Especially the top two racks but it happens on all of them. I just bought a house that this was installed in and it is by far the biggest disappointment in a house I love.

Not worth the hassle

We bought this machine three years ago. Got the extended warranty, etc. the machine takes FOREVER to run a cycle. The dishes never get fully dry- unless you want to wait 4+ hours. In August 2022- the computer boards went bad- machine stopped working- tried to replace them- worked for a month and died again. Now? No parts are available.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It lasted 18 months, just out of warranty.

This dishwasher had the shortest lifetime I ever seen, in spite of being used lightly (I frequently travel) and treated with care. After only 18 months it stopped working (FTD error, most likely a faulty sensors, because the water is in fact drained).
