Love how quiet it is!

This dishwasher is a huge step up from what we had been using for years. So happy to have a high quality dishwasher now. I would recommend it to everyone. Especially love the bottle washers.

Ear piercing squeal

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your dishwasher. We're sorry for any inconvenience and we're happy to help. A squealing sound can occur if the dishwasher is new or has not been used for an extended period of time. This is due to no water being around the pump seals. We suggest adding one quart of water to the bottom of the tub and the noise should go away. The water lubricates the pump seals and keeps them quiet.

This dishwasher is a dream to use, it load a lot of dishes and has a lot of cycles you can use. Water use is minimal and it runs so quiet you don't even know it is on. We have enjoyed having this dishwasher and not having to stand over the sink and do dishes every night after we cook. We load it up and turn it on and the dishwasher does the rest. Thank you

Hello Lil Deb: Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your dishwasher. We’re glad you are happy with your new purchase. In recent years, there has been changes to federal water and energy efficiency guidelines. Dishwashers now run longer to ensure good wash performance, but they use less energy while running. Also, in using less water, your water heater does not need to provide as much hot water and therefore is not using energy to heat more water.

Bought this as the last appliance to match the existing GE slate appliances in the kitchen. It is much quieter than our last dishwasher- it can run at any time. Love the extra third row at the top for things like spatulas and long knives. Bottle washer is a nice feature. Has a large number of features with different washing and drying options. The buttons are a little sensitive so they turn on when you shut the door even if you don't want to use it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
