Already broken

Power to dishwasher stopped 15 months after new purchase. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it even shuts off mid cycle! Also, the third rack never really cleans that well. Don’t even use anymore. Terrible quality.

Loved it while it worked. We used it twice per week and after 3 yrs I’m told the motherboard is not working anymore. I expected this investment to last longer. After reading all the reviews it doesn’t sound like this was a great product.

DISAPPOINTED ! Do NOT recommend - short life span!

This dishwasher started leaking through the motor at the 2.5 year mark. Of course it is out of warranty and the plumber that came to diagnose the leak said it would be cheaper to buy a new dishwasher than try to replace the motor in this one. So disappointed because appliances are EXPENSIVE and I splurged and got this model for the features and that 3rd rack. Not inclined to get another GE dishwasher even though all my other newly replaced appliances are GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unfortunately Doesn't Last Long

We use our dishwasher about twice a week first three years. Now it looks like the motherboard went. I didn't have the money for any dishwasher and it randomly started working again about 3 months after not turning on.... But then died again a month later.
I called to look into getting it repaired. And they said it would be astronomically more than just buying a new one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible purchase!

Owned this dishwasher less than two years and it has stopped working. Will start and run for a few minutes then turns itself off. At the advice of my repairman, I will never purchase another GE appliance. Our less than 3 year old GE washing machine has been nothing but trouble. Repairman says they stay busy fixing GE appliances. Never again!

This is not normal operation, and we recommend resetting your dishwasher by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function, this will require service by a qualified technician.

Buyer Beware

I’ve loved this dishwasher since I bought it 4 years ago but now it’s completely dead. No power at all. The cost to repair will probably be as much as I paid for it so it’s not worth it. My next dishwasher will definitely not be a GE.

Nice design, poor quality!

I purchased the dishwasher 4 years ago when I renewed my kitchen. It has a nice design, but unfortunately it stop working a couple of days ago and is totally dead, more likely the power control board. Now I have to get a new one, as the repair cost (parts + labor) will be close to the the price of a new one. Very disappointed.

Bad products...

My GE dishwasher died after a couple years.... I changed the door switch and it worked for a bit. It died again. It's not even 4 years old... I'm not even going to go through the hassle to change out the motherboard since it may not be the problem... Time to switch brands...
