Awesome!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t sure how this would work since I’ve never used anything like it before but it is awesome! I put it in the laundry room in the basement because my teenagers always forget to turn off the light. It was a little trial and error but I figure out how to do the set up by myself in about 15-20 mins. It probably would have been faster had I read the instructions. :-) The magnet to hold the detector in place is crazy strong! I was concerned about where I’d put it but I screwed it into the wall and the magnet hold it in there tightly. Once you enter the room the light comes on in 2-3 seconds max and the time for the light to go out after motion is no longer detected is adjustable. I set it at 2 mins and it works perfectly. The light itself is bright and puts off plenty of light. I’m actually all caught up on laundry now because now I keep wanting to go in the laundry room just because the light is fun. Highly recommended!

I tried everything

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just couldn't get this item to work. I tried everything. I installed the light and the motion sensor. They both showed up on the app, but would never connect with each other. I tried factory resets. I tried installing and uninstalling the app. I tried a different phone. Nothing worked. The light works great by itself and is quite bright. I can control the light by itself with my phone, but the motion sensor has never worked. Also, even though the light works by itself, it loses its connection often and then my phone can't find it. Pretty disappointing. I had high hopes for this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The C by GE motion sensor starter kit is great! It is so easy to install and get set up. It provides a generous amount of light for a small area. Perfect for a backdoor or front door. Took less than 10 minutes to install and get it up and running. The motion sensor is not too sensitive to where a big will set it off, but perfect for if a human or animal are near it. I’m really pleased with this kit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This C by CE Motion Sensor Starter Kit does take a bit of work to set up (you have to download the GE app and configure it all) but once you get it up and running it really does work great. It picks up motion and turns on the light right away. I haven't had any problems with it not turning on. It gives off a nice light so you can see where you're going - but it's not too harsh either. Overall recommended if you're looking for a nighttime motion sensor light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy I was able to get this product. This light sensor was a blessing in disguise. We has a critters stealing my cats food off the porch. With the light automatically coming on it scared them away. This isba very good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this lightbulb on my porch where the kids come in and out and take their shoes off , it’s perfect because there’s no need to worry about flipping a switch on or off, Saves on my electric bill a ton because you know teenagers don’t care about doing what they have to do the little ones don’t have to be scared about going to the other side of the room to get that switch!

I am starting to make my house a smart house little by little and these honestly have made life a bit more relaxing for me. A must buy. Definitely going to get more.
