Easy installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband, who is NOT a handyman, was able to install this switch in our daughter room in about 15 minutes. It was very easy and only required one tool. It easily synced with her 3rd gen Echo and recognized the device right away. Unfortunately the light fixture in our daughters room has candelabra bulbs so we weren't able to use the attachment that came with it. When she would turn on the light it would flicker and get dim. We ordered different bulbs and that fixed the issue. Now she can turn her light off without getting out of bed at night when she is done reading.

A smart switch to give you peace of mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are building a new home and while I am not completely onboard to a fully smart home, I think these GE Smart Switches will give me peace of mind. I am a novice to all the smart gadgets but what I liked about this switch, is the ability ask Alexa or Google to dim the lights. I can even give a command when I am not home to turn on the lights! We have Alexa on our Firesticks so we are already realize our home is listening. If it is protecting us in some way, that will give me peace of mind. We will see how one works and may add a few more.

Blown away by how easy it is

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd decided to get this while doing a little remodeling around the house just to see if it was something that'd work for me. Not only was it super simple to set up, but it's even easier to use. All of my switches are getting switched, if you'll excuse the pun.

Great smart switch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This C by GE Smart Switch works great with my smart devices. I love to be able to control my lights remotely from my phone through using the C by GE app so I don’t come home in the dark. I like that I can also set the timer for when I want the lights to turn on and off. These features work great when I’m not home and for at night. I can also use google assistant with it. This switch was basic and easy installation and comes with everything included, the faceplate, mounting screws, wire nuts & labels, & bulb adaptor. The switch and face plate have a simple plain style, but I like the switch because it clicks when you manually flip it up or down, however stays in a forward position which is unique. This is a great Wi-Fi smart light bulb controller. It’s sturdy and nice quality. I would recommend it.

I had someone install it for me and I have to say it was well worth it. I love the fact I can use my voice to active it and use. wonderful technology.

Not as great as I thought...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was excited to try the GE 3-Wire On/Off Smart Switch - Toggle Style. Installation was pretty easy. The problem I have is getting it to work with the app or sometimes to work at all. When it does work it is great. Pairs well with smart bulbs. Just wish it worked 100% of the time.

Cool Switch Controls!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Straight out of the box I found everything I needed to change our living room light switch over to this cool, app controlled switch, short of a screwdriver. We have the app on our cell phones and tablets, allowing us to turn the light on or off no matter where we are in the house or even on the road.
Installation was a breeze once I watched one of the provided videos as our wiring is a little different than what the written instructions explain. I really like the cover plate, too. It covers the screws so the switch has a very modern, seamless look. Now we want all of our switches to have this feature. The app setup was super easy, too. I just downloaded it, connected it to our WiFi, and added the switch.
I suggest checking what the wiring is on any switch you plan to change over to these before purchasing them, as they seem to have a switch set up for just about any wiring. A little research beforehand will save you a lot of frustration. I didn’t need to contact the company so I can’t comment on their customer service skills, but if they’re anything like the product, they must be top notch.
One other feature I think is really cool about these switches is the easy touch for on or off. There’s no need to “flick” the switch, just give them a little touch and your lights go on or off.
