It seems a solid enough machine. Reasonably priced and doesn't take much space. The lift may be a little flimsy, but this is replacing a very substantial toaster, so it may just seem so by contrast.
One side of the bread toasts darker than the other, same for both slots. I'm not picky, but anyone who is might look twice.
I wish the slots were a bit longer since so much bread is non-standard.

It only toasted on one side. Had to buy another one. Bought Cuisinart because of the brand, but the product didn’t perform. We’ve been making toasters for what, 70, 80 years? Now this one is going to Goodwill. It works, but you do have to flip the bread mid-cycle.

Easy to empty crumb tray, like the cancel button to pop up toast sooner. Have only tried the bagel button and it worked great. Still finding the perfect toast setting on the dial. Sometimes one side of the bread gets browner than the other. Texas toast is better done in a toaster oven or air fryer, because the butter or cheese melts inside the toaster making a mess to clean. Not fancy or overcomplicated, which I like.
