Okayish toaster. Pretty quick, fairly even toasting. Our previous toaster would toast just one side (the inside) of a bagel if i wanted it to, which i really miss with this toaster. The bagel setting on this toaster simply extend the cooking time.

We bought this toaster because of a review we read saying that it toasted a single slice evenly on both sides. It doesn't. One side is well done (dark) and the other is pale. (That's why we got rid of our old toaster.)

My original purchase, only two thirds of the heating elements worked. The replacement is worse! The toast comes out nice and brown on one side and hardly anything noticeable on the other. You have to burn one side to get the other brown!
