Pros: Does a fine job of toasting. Cool to the touch when operating. Very lightweight, easy to turn upside down to shake out crumbs.
Cons: The biggest con is that the first several toasting cycles smell like burning plastic. Really horrible smell, presumably somewhat toxic. Do a few cycles empty, until smell stops, with ventilation. Slots are smaller back to front than our previous unit, longer slices have to be turned and put in again. Dial turns easily, can be knocked to unintended setting if not careful.
