This budget toaster replaced a much more expensive one that died. I don't need a lot of bells and whistles on a toaster, just the basics. This one does just what a toaster should do, for a fraction of the price.

Good little utilitarian toaster, but there is no indicator on toaster of what direction to put bagels in so the tops don't burn. After observing with bagel setting engaged it appears the outer elements don't fully light up, so placed bagel halves with cut side facing in.

The toaster toasts bread evenly. Have not tried a bagel yet, but have tried thick rolls cut in half and it does a nice job. It does toast the bread quicker than our previous toaster.

You have to carefully put the toaster in toast mode if you push it down doesnt click into action unless it's pulled down slow and carefully
Wish the toasting area was taller for oval shape toast... i have to put toast into the toaster twice flipping it half way through or cut off an inch of bread or have t end untoasted
Meh all around... also plastic casing is thin and cheap... i couldn't find a thinner toaster to fit the minimal space i have in metal
