I am very happy with my Cuisinart toaster. I reviewed many brands and features on new toasters before purchasing. My new wide slot toaster seems very basic in comparison to other models but it does exactly what I wanted it for. I wanted to toast bagels and it toast them perfectly! Yum.

I was looking for a slim 2 slice toaster for our countertop. I saw the nice toaster at the store and did not hesitate to purchase, because it had a well known respectable company behind it.

Only toasts one side. I toast first side on level 2, then turn and toast other side on level 1. Have to stand there and watch it the entire time because even at level 1 and 2, it will burn the toast. And, I have to wait for the toaster to completely cool down before making more toast or it will quickly burn the next pieces. Total waste of my money and my time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
