This toaster isn’t working well and I may return it.

This is my second one. The first one was replaced due to over toasting bread on one side. Unfortunately the replacement toaster is just as bad. Does not come close to toasting bread evenly and I have the setting clear down to 2. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

toasts well. used mostly for frozen waffles, which come out with a uniform toast, which was important feature to us. Some toasters we had tried would give you a dark toasting on the bottom and the top would just be warm, but not toasted..
