Most of the time I use a toaster for English muffins and bagels. One sided! This doesn’t, but rather lightly toasts the other side. It’s not what I want, so I sent it back.

I bought this toaster because of the review on wire cutter. The problem I have had is getting it to toast evenly on both sides of the bread. My compromise has been to set it on a low setting then turn the bread and do it again. It was a reasonable price but it doesn’t work as well as my old Black & Decker

Great toaster. Will all the toaster settings, never have had burnt bread again. Great that the toast slats adjust to the size of the bread, allowing for thin sliced, thick sliced & bagel toasting.

The toast is darker on one side than the other. To a much greater degree than I expected based based on the reviews and tests I read beforehand. The defrost and reheat options work as expected. It is light and compact to handle and store (we don't leave it out).

Nice sleek compact size. However, toasts single slices HORRIBLY. Doesn't matter what setting or whether we use just the left or right side. Either way the external side is almost raw, the inner side practically burnt. Expected more consistency from Cuisinart brand
