Thus far, no yellowing of the white color around the heated areas. Does not get overly hot with use. I'm happy with this choice of purchase.

This is the second time you have asked for a review!!!!!!! The new toaster acts as if the dark sector has little effect on how dark the toast becomes. The old toaster worked much better than the new one. I would never recommend the new one, it is a big disappointment.
