DON'T BUY THIS TOASTER!!! I would like to rate it less than one star. It only toasted the outside of the bread. The inside elements glowed, but did not toast. This is a poorly made product. Not what I expected from a company like Cuisinart. I sent it back.

Without question one of the worst toasters that I have ever purchased. The variable heat settings are virtually the same regardless of what setting number you choose. I selected this toaster because it advertised a bagel setting. Unfortunately the bagel gets burned even at the number two setting. I had a Cuisinart toaster previously which was great, this newer model, not so much.

I received a replacement toaster from Cusinart to solve a specific problem...when starting to toast, the handle would not stay down in the ON position. The replacement toaster is much better, but often I still need to slide the handle down multiple times for it to stay in the start position.

The toaster could be better. It only toasts one side of the bread and toasts it very quickly, so I can only have it set to 2 max unless I want black toast on one side of the bread. It works and I still get toast.

I bought the least expensive toaster and thats just what I got. It doesn't pop up the toast when done, the dials are loose and not accurate or working properly. Time to spend more money.
