Originally purchased a different brand and could get to work out of the box. I returned it and purchased the Elemental 4-cup Chopper/Grinder and am pleased with the performance and ease of use. Works well and does what it is supposed to do.

This is a VERY powerful mini chopper. So far I've only used it with small veggies like bell peppers, mini peppers, mushrooms and onions, I found that I get more consistent shape and size by putting less in it each time. Soft veggies like mushrooms turn into paste if I add more than 4 or 5 pieces at a time. I only need to alternate chop and grind about 3 to 4 times for them. I'm sure it's going to easily handle nuts and tougher veggies. Cleaning it is easy and I like the small size.

I like the way this works for small chopping jobs and quick dressings, but the cup has broken twice and replacing it is expensive. The break is a small pin that engages the blade when connecting the cup to the base. It is a weak point. It is not broken due to misuse. The most recent break occurred and the cup was stuck on the base allowing the blade to rotate as usual with the cover off. So so dangerous. The base works perfectly fine. I don't want to throw it away, but I must get rid of it as I can't rely on the total machine working for me when I really need it. I am searching for other similar manufacturers to fill my need of a small food processor.

Works great. Has two speeds: chop or grind. Easy to pulse chop veggies so they don’t turn into mush. Has a small footprint, so it’s easy to store under the kitchen cabinet.
