Didn’t work from right out of the box. Now I have to go through the trouble of getting it fixed. Had a cuisinart many years ago and it worked well and lasted a long time. Very disappointed in this

I've had many food processors throughout the years and wound up getting rid of them because they were big and cumbersome and difficult to store. Since I'm cooking for just myself now, I do not need a large machine. I have found this little 5 cup model to be just perfect for me. It is very simple to assemble and just as simple to disassemble and clean. It does a terrific job chopping my foods into tiny portions. I find that the two buttons for forward and backward are simple and effective for chopping just the right size. It is also easy to store on a shelf and is lightweight. I couldn't be happier with my little powerhouse. It was a good investment.

I do love the small size and powerful ability it has to chop, but the plastic lid has a poor design. If that little plastic tab breaks off, the unit is unless you get a replacement lid/cover/top for the unit. The little tab is a safety feature for the unit, but can easily break off. They need to find a sturdier design of they want people to purchase this nice little kitchen gadget.

There is a confusing safety mechanism that needs to be followed to make this item work. I was going to return it for “not working” but fortunately called the Customer Service number and they had me make sure to have the lid lined up with an arrow and then I had to push down on it in order for it to work. Once I got those instructions It worked great and I am happy with the product.
