This is a marked improvement over the earlier models, The blade stays attached when you empty the bowl - very convenient. I find alternating the chopping and grinding modes works well on some ingredients to make them chopped evenly. Very handy for small jobs requiring chopping a number of different veggies or ingredients, like chicken salad. The recipe for Apple Crisp in the accompanying little booklet is worth trying!
