I got this chopper to replace another brand that had worn out. I researched models and chose this one due to its size. It fits perfectly on my counter(I don’t have a lot of space) it is a perfect little chopper. I’ve done liquids to mix and to chop onions with garlic. Quick and easy It also is easy to clean put in the dishwasher or rinse it out. It comes with a little scrapper which at first seems silly but I actually found it very useful for scraping out my chopped onions. I do recommend this chopper.

I replaced a very old food chopper that I used for years; worked well and safely (for years) even after I broke a part of it! I can conquer any recipe with my Cuisinart! I can't find the words to express what a wonderful product and company this is. I have another well-known model in a large food processor; it doesn't hold a candle to Cuisinart! I just LOVE you! You are the very BEST any home cook could want. And I'm not a novice; I'm a senior citizen and cooked many, many years.

I realize that I was trying to get a bargain when I purchased this product but I think the Cuisinart Elemental Series 4-Cup Chopper/Grinder is too cheaply made. I should have paid more and gotten a more substantial chopper because the plastic on the work bowl that locks it into place was too easily broken. It still works but it is too fragile in my opinion.

Product is defective, do not buy. To activate the motor, there is a little circular piece on the top bowl that is supposed to stick out far enough to press down the button on the base in the front. This circular piece is not manufactured correctly and does not and will not touch to activate the motor. I even got a replacement bowl sent and it is still sticking out the same amount that will NOT activate the motor button on the base. I received this as a gift and cannot return it, so I am trying to craft a plastic piece to attach to activate the motor, otherwise will just throw this out because it is trash.

I bought this Cuisanart chopper /grinder 2 months ago. Just had the opportunity of use it. The first time o went to use it, it wouldnt work. Sending back. I HAVE bought Cuisanart many times n have never had a problem. But cant say that this time. Hopefully it's just a fluke. Will reorder.
