The chopper/grinder works well; however, it is a little different from the same Cuisinart chopper I used for many years. I noticed it is lighter weight which probably means more plastic. Perhaps that isn't all bad in that some parts of the heavier metal model showed rust unless thoroughtly dried after each use. Again, I have used it a half dozen times and it works well. I expect it to last as long as the first one did.

We bought this after watching a healthy recipe website and the host was using this to create apple pancakes which are low carb and gluten free. We ordered one and it has become a welcome addition to our kitchen! Works well and is easily cleaned after use. Much better than having to try storing a large food processor! I've owned a larger version of this chopper (food processor) for years and it works really well and came with a lot of attachments. The only problem is that it is not great for small batches. This 4-cup version looks like the little brother to the other one and works really well.
Super simple button operation, easy to clean, and it works really quickly. I made a batch of my green chile hummus in it and I feel like it processed it to a perfect consistency faster than the large version.
