This toaster does not reflect the quality we have experienced from the many other Cuisinart products we have always enjoyed. It looks good but the depressor feels cheap and we often have to depress the arm twice to get it to work. The chrome recess on the top fills up with crumbs. This is not an easy area to keep clean. We do like the hidden toasting menu. I would not recommend this particular toaster.

This is a very nice toaster. The touchscreen gives it an added aire of class while still being very affordable. The touchscreen features disappear when not in use so there's nothing obtrusive about the display. This thing even toasts bread from frozen efficiently! Overall, this is certainly the nicest toaster I have ever owned. Congratulations to me!!!

Purchased this toaster to replace an older version that the button came off of, and was still working. The new version is great. Easy to use and toasts very evenly. Has defrost setting. I keep all my breads in the freezer, so this is great. Also has a toasts one slide setting and bagel setting.

Once we learned on the Internet how to remove the cover over the settings, it's been great fun! Even with my excellent eye sight I could not read the tiny instruction to remove the transparent cover.
I hope Cuisinart includes the instructions in the future. It is an interesting toaster.
