Sleek and Easy Coffeemaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've found this coffeemaker to be a great addition to my kitchen. I love that it's a 14 cup carafe and the touchscreen is just fun! It came with both a gold cone filter and a few disposable filters so I was able to use it as soon as I opened it. I've made a few pots so far and just really enjoyed it. It's easily programmable which is a must with coffeemakers these days. The only glitch I had was not putting the filter container in correctly and so it wasn't fully aligned for the first usage and I managed to get grounds everywhere! Lesson learned though, and no issues since. I also did go through the cleaning process and added in the charcoal filter to the water tank before using, which I'd recommend. All in all, great coffeemaker and I'm so glad I have it!

I love that it has a temperature control (low, medium, high) so you can adjust to the temperature that works best for you. Pretty cool and easy to use.

I set it up for a timer for the next day and woke up to perfectly brewed coffee. Very well worth buying one.

Great capacity, coffee is hot. You need to make sure the grind is appropriate. Too fine and it can get floaty. Some tweaking will fix that. Control input is not well described in the documentation. For instance getting the auto on timer to engage is not quite how it's described in the manual. You need to hold the "button" until it flashes and then press it again, or let it time out. Also, if you want the coffee bold you press that before the auto-on. However, there will not be an indicator to let you know bold was selected when the auto on is programmed. Also, my unit will sometimes shut off prematurely but I've got a warranty replacement on the way. If you get this issue, Cuisinart will neglect to inform you that you can wait to cut the cord off the defective appliance.

Excellent coffee maker. I love the touchscreen design. The only drawback I have found thus far is the tone sounding the end of the dripping and shutting down the hot plate. It is non-existent. As a long time customer I have come to rely on the tone.
