Even using filtered water, ground coffee and paper filters, the coffee is murky yet tastes good. The gold filter is a joke and now has a permanent home in the back of the cupboard. The large capacity 14-cup pot is great to have since we enjoy iced coffee too.

Con - 1. I find it a chore each time to fill the unit with water. The filling hole is too close to the lid
Con - 2. Setting the time for delayed start is easy. Sad part is, the user has to activate it each night. Set it and forget it, is an option on other coffee makers of the same type.
Pro - 1,. I like the bold coffee feature, hidden menu, silent 'when done' option, warming pad heat options, and, the 4 hour 'on' option.

I love this coffee maker. I would have given it 5 stars, but put in and pulling out the pot can be a little troubling. Ya have to push & pull pretty hard. Besides that it's great.

Makes a great cup of coffee as long as it works. The 1-4cup light now occasionally does not work. Cuisinart needs some serious work on reliability of all models. I have owned nearly 10! All have same issue, i.e. reliability.

Bought per Consumer Reports recommendation. Nicely done finish and electronics. The lid does not open far enough to make it easy to pour in a full carafe. Also, the carafe--maker design is not smooth enough for easily sliding on and off the burner plate, it requires extra pull/push. It produced very good tasting coffee using brown cone filters.

This unit replaced a Cuisinart 12 cup with grinder. I had gotten tired of cleaning grinder parts long ago. New 14 cupoer has a smaller footprint and profile yet greater volume. Looks good, makes good coffee and it’s easy to clean. I like having a water level gauge.

This coffeemaker is great. It has a multifunction, easy to use touchscreen for all functions. It brews fabulous tasting coffee and makes 14 cups, more than most others. The carafe pours easily and does not spill or drip. The only slight complaint I have is that it is a little difficult placing the carafe back in the coffee maker - it catches on the filter basket. I highly recommend it.
