I read the reviews of this coffee maker in Consumer Reports and on their highest rated review I purchased it. We have not been disappointed! This is a great coffee maker, period. It replaces a Krupp brand and I believe it is a better coffeemaker.

Easy to program

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker is easy to program. It came with the filter basket, a few filters to try and a coffee scoop along with the maker and pot and easy to read instructions. I did have an issue with it one morning tho, I woke up to the filter compartment filled with water and coffee grounds and water spilled over and on my counter. I do not think that it was the coffee makers fault or defect, I think it was user error, I don't believe I put the coffee pot into the cradle all the way which caused the water to fill over the top of the filter compartment, because the pot wasn't in all the way or correctly the coffee wasn't able to flow out the bottom of filter compartment from the nozzle part not being pushed up all the way. After realizing what I had done and making sure I don't do that again, I haven't had this happen again.
