One of the drain holes was not punched out. Be careful of the amount of water you use. It will boil over if too much. Took us the third use to figure out the correct amount. Although different types and amounts of pasta will cause water level adjustment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic quality multipot! The pot is a beautiful high quality stainless steel. I love the large capacity 8qt pot, it is perfect for making large batches of homemade pasta sauce or soup. The strainer attachment is extremely useful for cooking pasta and it’s way easier than carrying a full heavy pot to the sink to strain. I absolutely love the steamer basket too - I’ve been making so many streamed vegetables. . I’ve found so many uses for this pot in my kitchen, it’s become invaluable!

The Multipot of My Dreams!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the 3-ply Stainless Steel 8qt Multipot from Viking Culinary Products. Is there 6 stars??? I’m obsessed!! This is a beautiful, perfect-sized, stainless steel, sturdy pot with SO many uses!! It comes with a basket for steaming and a “pasta” insert(even though I will be using it for pasta, potatoes, corn on the cob, etc.) The pot can be heated up to 600 degrees allowing for water to start boiling in half the time. The pot is easy to clean and comes with a limited lifetime warranty through Viking. I could not ask for anything more in a piece of cookware and am excited to try more products from this brand!
