Fun powered scooter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took this scooter out with my wife, and we were very impressed by its quality! We drove it all over the paved park near our house. I weigh about 200 pounds, and it had no trouble getting up to a fast speed, and it felt very sturdy during the ride. The breaking and acceleration were very responsive, and after both of us playing for quite a while, it still had over half of its battery left, which was impressive. I could see this being a great scooter for getting around a larger college campus or riding around a bigger city where you don't have a car or don't want to get your car out of parking to go to a nearby office. It's also just a great way to have some fun cruising around a paved park to get some fresh air. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking to get a motorized scooter! The assembly was fast and easy, and I have absolutely no complaints about this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Razor Prime III Electric Scooter is the rare product that is both entirely practical for transportation and unbelievably fun. The scooter arrives nearly completely built and a simple allen wrench completes the total build. This scooter is NOT a kids toy, by any means. It goes fast, around 15 mph at top speed and covers ground very quickly. I wear a helmet at all times, you can't be too safe. I was thoroughly impressed by both the bright LED front-headlight as well as the equally bright LED brake light. For early evening rides, these lights are perfect and can be easily seen from a long distance. Never ridden a powered scooter before? I've found it only takes a few seconds to get the hang of it. The brakes are a touch sensitive, as expected for a new braking system, so that is the majority of the learning curve. I've found this scooter to be absolutely perfect for middle-distance traveling. When walking might take a bit too long but driving is a hassle, that's the perfect time to whip out the Prime III. I regularly go to a nearby farmers market about a mile and a half away from my house where it is an absolute struggle to find a parking space. The scooter is perfect since I can quickly get over to the market and then easily bring my purchases home with me in the same amount of time it would have taken to find a parking space. I can't say enough about how awesome this scooter is and how much I've enjoyed it since I got it. A+ definitely recommend purchasing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both myself and my 7yo Daughter have loved riding our Razor Prime III scooter since we received it! I was really happy with the weight but more so with how sturdy it was once deployed with the anti-rattle feature. The scooter picks up speed pretty fast on flat ground and handles really well to move around obstacles/stay on your path. The controls are super intuitive and the variable speed control works well so you aren't just going between stop and full blast in terms of speed. Our daughter loves getting to ride it slowly and picked up the controls very fast. The scooter seems to charge quickly and with both of us taking turns and having fun over a 20-30min session we've never ran it completely down. I'm sure that'd be different when using it to commute (which I plan to do once the health restrictions are lifted). Couple of improvement areas - I'm closer to 250lbs vs the 220lb weight limit and you can notice it struggles to get moving. Would love to see a little more oomph up front. The brake is an electric brake that basically uses the motor to slow the scooter down (even if you press the back wheel cover). This is a great concept but doesn't allow for quick/emergency braking so it's important to gauge the speed closely.

The breaks are on the handle or you can step on the back wheel fender. It comes with an brilliant headlight and taillight, both of which are bright and work very well.

Be Carful

This is a great scooter. I have had it for a little over a year now and the battery is still powerful. I’ve only had to inflate the tires once and the range is exactly what I expected.
BUT be careful, the scooter has an opening which but my thumb an left it swollen for a couple of day. If I had opened it with any more force I may have broken the bone. The injury occurred when the scooter was being opened in between the hinge of the scooter when opening.
Over all the scooter is great but I thought it is important for people to know about this one design flaw.
