The breaks are on the handle or you can step on the back wheel fender. It comes with an brilliant headlight and taillight, both of which are bright and work very well. Similar to scooters you can rent but in steroids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This scooter is awesome for the whole family. It's pretty easy to assemble and came with half of a full charge. We let it charge over night just to make sure the it would have good battery life. There are little lights on the front that let you know when the battery is getting low and when it needs to be charged. It's very sturdy and well built. I think it holds a charge well. It does start to slow down before the light comes on to let you know to charge it. It easily held almost 200 lbs of weight without any issue. All in all it's a very good scooter and lots of fun. I would recommend it.

The throttle is smooth and isn't super sensitive. Once you open it up, it flies! My 3 year-old loves to ride with me on it. My newphew had a ball on it too!

It charges just fine, and it even has a headlight for using it at night. I drove for a while and the battery still looked as if it was fully charged. I think this would be perfect for areas where a short walk would allow you to get some errands done.

Good bang for your buck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although it has some downfalls, you certainly get your money's worth with this scooter. It feels solid when you're riding it, and the anti-rattle feature seems to help a lot. It goes pretty fast, but nothing scary. I had problems with it going uphill. I frequently found myself having to push myself to get to the tops of hills. This probably isn't much of a problem if you don't weigh a lot or if you live in a really flat area. I like that you can fold it in half. It makes it easy to take on the train/bus to get to work. It's a little heavy and can be awkward to maneuver, but that's something you will find with any similar product. The battery and range also leave something to be desired, but it recharges pretty fast. You can easily spend over $1000 on a more powerful scooter with more range, but if you just need to get from point A to point B this is an excellent option.

We've got three very active kids who all have Razor scooters and we're often trying to keep up to them on the way to the park. This has helped us a ton! Set up was super easy, just a few turns of an Allen wrench and we were pretty much good to go. My only complaint here is ours was missing the wrench so I needed to find one in the garage. There was a hole in the instruction bag so it likely fell out during the packing. After setting up we were able to hop on, push off and away we went...it's got some pick up and go! Turning takes a bit of getting used to but the more we're on it the more we get used to it. I'm a little heavier than the stated max weight but it doesn't slow it down any. Charging is easy with a quick plug in too. No issues at all so far just simple, fun, and easy to use. Looking forward to many years of riding with my kids now...the question is - can they keep up? Definitely recommended.

It has a bright light so if you're riding at night time you can see crystal clear. The quality of this scooter is so sturdy. Razor truly did make an adult scooter that has fast speed that you can adjust slower if you would like. If you were looking for a good time whether it's in your neighborhood ,at a park, at a beach it definitely has it all.

It only allowed for about 45 minutes of use before it started to see a significant slowdown. However, during that period it performed incredibly well, had a lot of speed, and handled very well for a scooter.
