This is a great electric scooter for kids. It has enough power,but not to fast and my son and daughter love this scooter. It seems to be built sturdy not to mention my son says his looks cooler than his friends who have a different brands and his friends say his scooter goes much faster than the ones they have. The battery life is about 40 min non stop. Only down side it is doesn't handle well slight inclines. It works great on flat surfaces the best.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 year old couldn't wait to get this scooter on the road, but we waited the full 12 hours to make sure it was fully charged. It is a little different in that it needs a kick start to get it going to start zipping along. My child wished it was a little faster but is still fun. The scooter arrived in great packaging and was simple to put the handle/bar on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought it for an 8 year old. Perfect handle bar height for her. Her sister is 10 and the height of the handle bar is a little to low for her. The first thing she said was can I raise the handle bar higher. So, I wish there was a way to adjust height of handle bars. The speed is good. About 10 mph. I didn’t want anything faster for their first scooter. They have a lot of fun with it, but also want to go faster. For the price I would recommend it for the 8 year old. The 10 year old is wanting something a little bigger and a little faster.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Goes Really Fast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This scooter is simple to put together. You simply attach the handle bar to the base via a large Allen wrench. It charges quickly enough AFTER its initial charge of 12 hours out of the box. (Don’t be tempted to use it before the 12 hours are up) It also stays charged for a long time providing hours of use. It has an off/off button that glows red so you can see from a distance if your kid forget to turn it off after use. To use this scooter, you must first get it going to 3mph before the motor will engage…but then there is NO gradual increase of speed. It goes from 0 to 11 mph as soon as the motor engages. It literally jerks you forward! My 8 year old does not like this feature at all. It definitely goes fast so if your kid likes speed this will most certainly fulfill that! I definitely recommend wearing a helmet with this scooter because of its speed and it’s initial jerk upon the motor engaging. Overall we love this scooter!

When it gave us a little trouble Razor went the extra mile to get him back on the road, very quickly. I have nothing but good things to say about this company and their products. Our son is the only kid in this town with one of these and it is a real head turner, when people see it for the first time. If you have a 7-8 year old who loves to bike, this is a great enjoyable alternative!!

It came with an Aluminum Deck which has plenty of space on it plus it looks cool! Make sure you read the Manual, which came with the Razor, it has valuable information that will help you. Then use the enclosed charger and plug it into the Razor Scooter. When charged, make sure you become familiar with your Razor Scooter as this will help in your performance and help detour accidents.
So if you are looking for a Holiday/Birthday gift then the Razor - Power Core E100 Electric Scooter might be the answer!! I Definitely know what my Family is getting for the Holidays!!

Sure wish I could get warranty to pay for batteries, but was accused of using wrong charger and over charging - I did not.

Be careful very strong in the initial acceleration

Dear friends, I recently bought this scooter for my 09 year old daughter, however it has a very quick and sudden acceleration that my daughter was thrown back and fell, that is, when the child pushes with her feet, the scooter's motor simply accelerates at 100%, it should have smoother acceleration initially and as the child accelerates, the acceleration glove has a very short range, it should have a greater turning range, my daughter is now terrified because she is afraid of the toy, it exists any way to let the scooter go when the kid makes the initial push have a smoother acceleration?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
