Great trimmer and groomer

Decent but not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the ConairMan Deluxe Cut and groom clippers with trimmer and I was not impressed. The plastic it is made out of seems cheap. It has a button on the front that makes the clippers run faster, what is the point of this? Why don't you just make them one speed? Plus you have to hold the button down the entire time when using the fast setting and sometimes your finger slides off the button. Why would anyone use them in the slow setting? Doesn't make sense to me. I used them on my beard and it pulled the hairs multiple times, especially on the slow setting. I do like the fact that they come with multiple guards to get the right length. It also comes with a carrying bag that holds everything in one place. The trimmer that comes with it is the worst trimmer I have ever used, don't include this with this set, it is garbage. There are about 4 settings on the back of the trimmer that moves the blade but mine only moved one setting, I couldn't get it into the other lengths. It's decent for the price but there are better clippers out there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cuts well, seems to be cheaply made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After I received my free ConairMan Deluxe Cut & Groom Clipper/Trimmer, I wanted to test it a few times to get a feel for how it works. I like that it comes with a small trimmer which is good for precision trimming and grooming, but I don't like the design of the adjustable length head that it comes with. It s finicky to get on and off and time will tell if it lasts long or not with the thin plastic clips holding it on. I also which that it was a rechargeable battery, but AAA. The main clippers have cut well the couple of times that I use them, and I like the boost button when you need to get through a thick area. The whole unit seems to be made of the same cheap plastic that the trimmer is made from so we'll see how well that holds up over time. I like the canvas carrying case much better than the old plastic ones that had the latch that broke very easily. Overall, I would say that the clipper cut well, but you're paying for what you get as far as quality goes and I'd be surprised if these lasts too long.

Good starter piece

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who has been cutting their own hair for about 15 years, I've had a chance to use a few different type of clippers. This Conair Man trimmer would be a great starter piece for someone looking to cut their hair or trim themselves.
The clipper and trimmer are constructed of plastic, which makes them feel a bit less solid than other clippers. However, being made out of plastic makes them lighter, which would likely be beneficial for someone that is getting started or completing a basic trim.
The kit comes with all the attachments one would need. Having the attachments numbered makes it easy to find the best length for oneself. These pieces all attach and come off of the trimmer with ease. When cutting, the machine is not as noisy as other clippers, nor is there too much vibration, which allows for an even cut.
The trimmer is an ideal size and easy to operate. Having all the pieces fit into one kit helps with storage and making it easy to grab and go and take the equipment with you. I've had other trimmers that come in a hard plastic case, and it can be challenging to get the clippers and attachments to fit back in easily. I've had other clippers that do not come with a case for the clippers or the attachments, which then requires coming up with some means of storage. Although upon first impression, it thought this case seems a bit flimsy, but as compared to the aforementioned options I described above, this case is an ideal setup. There is plenty of room to store all of the pieces and then some. The material keeps with the weight being on the lighter side and making it ideal for transporting from location to location.
