The size and shape of this backpack for my sons school items (books, binders, Chromebook, gym clothes and lunch box) is just right and has very sturdy & wide shoulder straps to balance out the weight of the backpack. Water bottle holder on the side is durable as well. Lots of wide and deep "pockets" also. The top front part of the backpack has an ideal mini zipper pouch to hold earbuds also. Not overwhelming. He doesn't have a locker this year, 6th grade, so this works out great!

Truly a great backpack. I bought this for my daughter who's in 6th grade. Love the color/color combination with just enough white and grey to contrast the turquoise- and many different compartments that allow her to be more organized. The product developers have not missed a thing, and thought through all the details!! If you are looking for a high quality, versatile product then this is a perfect choice! Highly recommend it.

Nice bag, but those shoulder straps..... It's just not comfy, and forget about slinging one strap over your shoulder on the run cuz it's just not possible. Decent bag for the price, but it needs an overhaul in the strap design. I returned it.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On the 5th day of buying, the bottom strap tore out. I was just using it for my school. Never carried more than 5 lbs. I also complained to high Sierra but no one responded. I am really disappointed from high Sierra this time.
Cons: Poor Quality, Tears Easily, Weak Seams

I was able to carry3 days of clothes at a time and personal items as well as my kindle, phone, chargers, shoes and snacks. Highly recommend this product
