I bought to use when riding my bicycle and scooter. It has the extra strap in between the shoulder straps, so it won't blow off at speed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this as a gift through work and so far I like it a lot.
I especially like the laptop hammock, which is designed to
keep the laptop from hitting the floor if you set your backpack
down on a hard surface. I added my own panning underneath the
hammock just in case it is sit down too hard. I also like the many
pockets.
I have not actually use this for a trip yet so I will know better
how much I like it after I have used it.

I bout got this backpack about 2 years ago, and about a year in the straps already started to wear and not hold their form. I liked all the storage space, especially for my laptop and ipad for school but it overall did not hold up well. The straps also caused my back to hurt a lot, which I hadn’t realized until I took it on a flight and my shoulders and back were killing me, even though my backpack was not full. Overall I had higher hopes because one of my friends likes High Sierra, but I think especially if you have shoulder or back pain ever I would not go with this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this backpack since I was taking a summer class and hadn't been to school in over 20 years. It was great to carry my laptop, cables and other class things related. It has great organization. I love High Sierra.

Looks and feels good BUT....

It feels comfortable to me. The main compartment is narrow but deep enough. My only problem is that it only has one deep compartment besides the laptop sleeve. The section with the organisation pockets for pens, etc is shallow and when loaded, the bag has a concave look in the middle and I find it annoying. This compartment should have been extended to the full depth like the main compartment. That would make this bag complete. Also, I got it with signs of being used on the inside, wasn't happy about that.
I would recommend this to a friend!
