Great features and great style.

Our range top island had no vent at all and after doing some shopping I chose The Range Hood Store and the z-line hood. We are very happy with our new vent system it is the center attraction now along with our Viking 5 burner gas cooktop.

I really like the sleek lines and quality of the hood overall. Room for improvement could be the quality of the screws that go into the ceiling joists, a paper template, and metal ducting instead of plastic. A plastic one would melt in a fire and cause potential fire inside attic.

I got one from a big box store and it didn't adjust (even though the web description said it would). In store they told me I would have to order some ginormously expensive unit. I found this one and with the short adjustment kit it worked beautifully. Great price for the same thing I found in local stores for much higher.

Bought for a new home. Had to cut down angle irons and stainless ducts to install even though kit was supposed to work for and 8 to 9 foot ceiling. ( ours are 8’and we wanted the hood to be
36” above range. Other than the retrofit, it is a nice hood. Love the 4 speed and the directional lights.

After lots of research I settled on a Zline Island Range Hood. Liked the look, reviews were good and many mentioned poor installation instructions. They were correct. You have to go online and watch Youtube videos which is fine, however the 1 video for an Island hood is very incomplete not to mention a very risky electrical hookup apparently done by the homeowner is shown. Fans are not overly loud for the amount of air they move. Lights are adequate, barely.

Beautiful and functional, with great service

I've now had this unit for over two years. I'm so happy with this range hood. It still looks beautiful, and works like a dream. Very quiet yet efficient at getting the vapors out of my kitchen. And ZLine's service has been excellent, as well. My unit came with the halogen bulbs. After a year I called to inquire about buying the LED replacement kit and the friendly person simply mailed them to me no charge! Now that's service! They installed easily.

Poor Quality

This is a nice looking hood, but it is poor quality. The lights have failed 3 times in less than 3 years. While Zline supplied replacements, great inconvenience to be without lights and to have to install light kit (in hard to reach spot, need hand mirror to work!). Would not recommend this Zline Range Hood. It is simply poor quality.
