Played AC Odyssey for 10 hours straight and everything was perfect. Keyboard can get warm but the temperature is acceptable.
However,
Keyboard back light is strange from certain angle.
Fingerprint recognition is not very accurate.
Sound is blurry compared to my xps 13 9370.
However,

This Laptop is Amazing!!!

This is my first gaming laptop and I absolutely love it! The performance is off the charts for something of this form factor. The Ryzen CPU and Nvidia GPU are very power efficient and as a result offer great battery life and performance. The display is excellent too, the 120 hz refresh rate is buttery smooth and the colours look nice and natural since its calibrated. The overall design is very minimal too which is great since it can be brought to a meeting without looking all flashy. The keyboard, touch pad ans speakers are excellent! However keep in mind that you will need and external webcam if you want to make video calls. Overall I highly recommend this laptop to those that want to get work done and play games all while maintaining a minimal design and great power efficiency.

A perfect laptop

What a great little machine! It’s light and portable, yet still powerful. The screen is bright, the thermals are amazing for the form factor, and the gpu is powerful enough to run any AAA title at high-ultra 60 FPS, with esports titles really showing off the screen’s 120 Hz refresh rate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this laptop more so for its under the hood power as i am a software developer, photographer who uses it to edit RAW format pictures in lightroom, and ocasional video editor in adobe premier. This laptop is perfect for me. My key features which i do not compromise on are, light weight, slick, compact. USB-C PD as i have a hub and another monitor which i use, i love to plug USB-C and forget it. All is taken care of. Though 180W power brick is very powerful and handy, i use this when running laptop in turbo mode, otherwise, sitting on couch and browsing web, i can use battery mode and usb-c charge mode. One thing i will say is that this laptop uses up 16 RAM in no time, so i will soon upgrade 1 memory slot and replace 8GB to 32GB, making total ram to 40Gb.
Apart from this, i wish track pad was slightly bigger but no major complain as track pad quality is incredible.
I havent game on this laptop just yet, but i plan to do it soon and i expect good performance from it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just got this in today and I must say, typing with the keyboard is responsive and accurate. The LED's are whatever in the dark and could only be an issue if you only use two index fingers to type and have horrible eyesight.
The weight is astonishingly light. I am used to having a hulking 15 lbs absolute unit of a gaming laptop and this probably weighs half of it but it is twice as powerful.
Onto gaming: Finished downloading Call of Duty: MW and I'll just say this: Captain Price never looked so good on a laptop until now.
it runs kind of hot but get a stand for it and it should be fine for heat dispersal. you're most likely not going to be gaming on your lap unless you're in a colder climate and can't be bothered to wear pants but still want warmth.
anyways yeah laptop is great if you're thinking about buying this just remember in the great words of the great Shia Labeouf: Just. Do. it.

A Good Laptop with a some cons

This laptop is lightweight for a gaming laptop. You can set the battery life to certain situations so that you can have better battery life but worse performance or better performance and worst battery life. The keyboard is fun to type on and the trackpad feels nice. You can also set the laptop to different modes using the armoury crate which will allow you to have a mode for good battery life, a mode for gaming, and a mode to reduce the noise of the fan. I find it to be a smooth computer that works fast. One problem I find is that the fan can be quite loud (you can set the fan to silent but this will reduce battery life) but after using this laptop for some time, I got used to the noise. Another problem is using this laptop on your lap because the screen is made in a way such that if you try to do work on your lap using this laptop, the bottom part of the front screen will hurt your legs. Overall I have enjoyed this laptop so far and I would recommend it if you are fine with the laptop fan noise and if you don't use the laptop on your lap too often.

its just a broken product

the technical part of this thing is really good. its powerful enough to run anything you want it to without any dips. has strong fans too so it wont melt on your lap.
the problem is that you dont get to use the technical part of this thing because it will shut off whenever it pleases without warning. genuinely happened to me 5 times in like 16 hours.
not giving this only 1 star because i see some insane potential if asus was willing to assure any sort of quality on their product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
