This would have to be the best laptop I have ever used. Faster than fast and runs better that my desktop gaming machine that I built just a few years ago.

This is an incredible machine, It's fast, never seems to blur on video's, has handled everything that I have thrown at it. It's very thin for what's in it and I can say if you can afford the cost, Buy One. No disappointment on my End. Thank You Asus.

I have always loved ASUS Motherboards and have owed 3 ASUS Laptops, this is the first "Gaming Laptop" I've ever owned but it seems to perform as well as some of the Gaming Desktops I've built in the past. I'm very impressed with it's performance and don't even have a problem with the fans being a little loud for they are doing their job well at cooling however I do also have it on a Kootek Laptop Cooling Pad it sits on. Overall Excellent Laptop

It’s a fantastic computer. High end preformance with great durability. Preforms as well if not better than a gaming desktop with similar specs. Fans are a bit loud but that’s my only criticism.

I've always used Asus gaming laptops for my DJ businesses... these last 2 Strix machines i bought have been difficult to use with the Virtual DJ professional software. The i9 unit had to have the motherboard replaced within 25 days of owning it and it still causes the DJ software to crash. It's not been a reliable unit for a business. The i7 strix unit has been a bit more reliable but i do not use high memory or high graphics situations with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Laptop! It has worked wonderfully. My only complaint is there's no camera. I understand ASUS is trying to save space in the machine, but they could've put in a camera.
