The laptop is good at running everything but the major downside is that it’s not got very good cooling. The back end of the laptop opens and I think thats that is the way it’s supposed to get the hot air out but it doesn’t work very well and it feels overheated all the time. Not to mention the turbo setting in the armory crate makes any game crash so you have to run it on something else.

I'm a video editor and I needed to find a laptop that could do the heavy lifting needed with video editing and animation. All my research pointed in one very specific direction, namely that gaming laptops really have the same goals in mind: fast processor, decent graphics, and optimized hardware for speed. This laptop has delivered on the promise quite well. my secondary goal was to find a laptop that wasn't too loud. (Many gaming laptops include high-powered fans for cooling and quite loud as a result.) This system can _occasionally_ get loud when I'm rendering and it's really chewing on the CPUs, but 98% of the time is whisper quiet. I've had the laptop for about six months now and it gets a big thumbs up from me.
